2. I thought both Abbey and Stephen illustrated the elements and principles very well. I enjoyed them both. The photo Abbey used as form, I also saw color in the photo as well. The photo Sthephen used for shape, I also saw could be used for Line.

3. Niether Abbey or Stephen had an image that was the same as mine. Although, I could relate to some of Stephen's such as "Saw and Sawed."

4. The image "Carcass of Beef" piqued my interest. Both Abbey and Stephen had this artwork. I dont feel like I have a connection to it other than hunting because I enjoy going out and hunting. My curiosity though is why would someone want to paint a picture of a bloody beef carcass?

5. I do find this to be valuable in my learning because although I feel like I do not learn more about art viewing my peers blogs but, I do learn different views my peers have of the same paintings.

6. I do find others comments helpful. Their positive feedback helps me realize that I do know what I am doing and that I shouldn't be afraid to express myself.

A.) Which artworks make an impact or impression on me? Why? (#'s 1, 2 and 7)
Painting #1 is a photograph of the Erie Lakawanna Railroad. This made an impression on me because it is about a place that I live close to. It is a beautiful photograph of what used to be.
Painting #2 is a photograph of the Statue of Liberty from far in the distance. This picture is beautiful. It seems like the photographer is trying to make a point because the scenery surrounding the Statue of Liberty looks all dishevled and destroyed. It's beautiful.
Painting # 7 is a painting named The Coming Storm. The painting is just so powerful. It makes me think of the end of the world. B.) Which artworks do I feel a connection with? Why? (3, 5 and 9)
Artwork #3 is a painting of the Buffalo Harbor. I feel a connection with it because I have been to the Buffalo Harbor and to just think, that the Buffalo Harbor used to look like that, it is absolutely gorgeous. I love it!
Artwork #5 is a painting of Niagara Falls from Goat Island. Again, I feel connected with this painting because I have been to Goat Island and have watched the Falls in the same way.
Artwork #9 is another painting of Niagara Falls. I just love paintings and photographs of scenery and nature. I just cannot stop loving all of these scenic paintings, especially because they are of my hometown.

C.) Which artworks would I like to know more about? Why? (4, 6 and 8)
Artwork #4 is a drawing entitled Lancaster. I would like to know more of this photo because if it is meant to represent Lancaster, NY, then I would like to know more because i live in Lancaster, NY.
Artwork # 6 is entitled Victoria. I would like to know where this painting was painted and why it was entitled Victoria.
Artwork #8 is a painting of Niagara Falls and Goat Island. I would like to know on which side of the Falls this was painted. Whether it be the Canadian side or the American side.

THE FIRST PICTURE ARE MY FIRST 5 SKETCHES

THE SECOND PICTURE IS MY FINAL LOGO

1. Discuss what you thought about creating your logo.
I thought creating my logo was a lot of fun. I learned how to say a few phrases in Gaelic. I am partly Scottish, so the different language in my photo is in Gaelic. It means "All my hope is in God," it is the motto of the Fraser clan, which is where I came from.

2. Describe the process: creative thinking skills and ideas you used in the logo creation.
I just wrote down a bunch of different ideas I wanted to share about me with everyone. I combined my love of the fire service, my family and the Scottish heritage of my family.

3. What was the most important discovery you made in the creation of your logo?
I discovered that I actually be really creative.

4. What is the most important information you learned from watching the videos, powerpoint, and reading material  for this project? What is your opinion of the videos?
The important information I learned was how to create a logo and express myself in that way. I thought the videos were very helpful.
